Patricia Reynolds Sørbye
is a Certified Hypnotherapist and Master Hypnotist, educated at the state-licensed, Hypnotherapy Training Institute of Northern California. At HTI, she studied with masters in the field -- including Marleen Mulder, Randal Churchill, Gil Boyne, Dr. John Butler and Ormond McGill.

At HTI, students learn to gracefully apply a substantial range of effective hypnotic techniques. Emphasis is placed on working thoughtfully and with compassion, to co-create and foster desired change.

Patricia is certified through the American Council Of Hypnotist Examiners, (certificate #HT 105-107) and is dedicated to maintaining a practice in keeping with the A.C.H.E.'s Code of Ethics. In March of 2009, Patricia also trained as a Certified Medical Hypnotherapist at Oakland's Center For Hypnotherapy. She is also a sensitive, color-grapheme synesthete.

Patricia smoked cigarettes for many years, and gave up smoking with hypnotherapy, on February 7th, 2004. As a result of this, she's got an insider's perspective on the process, and loves to help anyone who is ready to stop smoking.

In July of 2008, Patricia received a diagnosis of breast cancer. Over the nine months that followed, she experienced surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. As a result of hypnotic preparation, she was able to have a reasonably pleasant experience, and reports that she felt no pain, no nausea and sustained no radiation burns throughout the entire process. As of today, she's getting stronger and stronger, goes to the gym 4 times a week, and remains happily cancer-free.

The human mind is so strong. So much of what we want to do can be accomplished with the help of our subconscious mind. With hypnosis, we access a realm of potential that is almost without limit -- and tap into a wealth of unique resources to become and accomplish nearly anything we can imagine.
